NEWVILLE. . .Rubedearl Levans, a resident of Newville, died early Tuesday afternoon, September 7, 2021, in a Dothan hospital. He was 70.

   Memorial services will be held at a later date. Holman-Headland Mortuary & Cremations is in charge of arrangements.

   Mr. Levans was born Clewiston, Florida, son of the late Rufus Albert Levans and Betty Sellers Levans. He lived in Cottonwood and Webb before moving to Henry County, north of Tumbleton, in 1994. Mr. Levans was a member of the Pine Hills Free Will Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Debbie Henderson Levans, who died August 28, 2021, a son, DeWayne Levans and a sister, Marjorie.

   Surviving relatives include four daughters, Jody Andrews, Lorie Ann Levans, Shannon Levans and Joyce Ann Earnest (Chris); three sons, Daniel Andrews, William Andrews and Dearl Levans; two brothers, Rudolph Levans (Donna) and Robert Levans; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
