Ruby Harrell of Chancellor, AL passed away, Monday, December 5, 2011 at her home.  She was 87. 

           Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, December 8, 2011 at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel with Rev. Howard Moore officiating.  Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home directing.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at the funeral home.

          Mrs. Harrell was preceded in death by her husband, Gaston Harrell and a son, Rick Harrell.

          Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Shelia Brown (Bennie) Chancellor, AL; son and daughter-in-law, Tom Harrell (Barbara) Kinston, AL; daughter-in-law, Bonnie Harrell, Enterprise, AL; two sisters, Jeanette Lyles, Chancellor, AL; Vera Wilson, Gaffney, SC; eight grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter.
