DOTHAN…Ruby Lee Lewis Parker, a resident of Dothan, died Thursday afternoon, October 25, 2018, at Extendicare Health & Rehab. She was 95.

     Memorial services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, October 28, 2018, in the Victory Family Church (formerly Beulah Baptist Church), 3225 Headland Ave., Dothan, with Pastor Kevin Kelly officiating. A private burial was held Friday, October 26, 2018, in the Beulah Cemetery. Holman-Headland Mortuary & Cremations is in charge of arrangements.

     In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Kindred Hospice, 2740 Headland Ave., Dothan, AL 36303.

     Mrs. Parker was born and reared in Columbia and lived in Dothan all her adult lifetime. She was a member of the Beulah Baptist Church. Mrs. Parker was preceded in death by her father, Cleveland Ohio Lewis; her mother, Omah Wood Cook; her husband, Jessie Clyde Parker; two sisters, Jacqueline Lewis and Mattie Myrl Gambill; three brothers, Earl Lewis, Byrd Lewis and Billy Ray Lewis.

     Surviving relatives include two daughters, Malinda Quattlebaum (Hayward), Dothan, and Teresa Scheil, West Palm Beach, FL; two sons, Allen Parker (Cyndi) and Billy W. Parker (Hilda) all of Dothan; a brother, James Cook (Polly), Dothan; ten grandchildren, Rob Parker (Kaye), Billy Ray Parker (Regina), Chad Parker (Heather), Jessie Parker, Allison Honea (Shea), Bradley Parker, Kelli Watson (Randall), Brit Bond, Blake Bond and Adam Mills; eleven great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.

     The family would like to express their appreciation to all the caregivers with Extendicare and Kindred Hospice, for the loving care and kindness shown to Mrs. Parker.
