WEBB…Rufus Ted “Rudy” Rabon, a resident of Webb, died late Sunday night, June 6, 2021, in a Dothan hospital. He was 64.

   Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 9, 2021, in the Holman-Headland Mortuary Chapel with Pastor Michael Whitman officiating. Burial will follow in the Webb Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. Wednesday in the mortuary chapel.

   Mr. Rabon was born in Columbia and reared in Webb and Dothan, son of the late Evertt E. Rabon and Hilda Harper Rabon. He retired from Southeast Gas as a Service Technician. Mr. Rabon was a member of the Webb Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by a sister, Nona Rabon.

   Surviving relatives include his wife, Mary Elizabeth “Lizzie” Rabon; his daughter, Caitlin Rabon Tew (Eric), Kinsey; two sons, Christopher Rabon (Amanda Moore), Webb; and Scott Rabon (Emily), Pinckard; a sister, Patti Alday, Savannah, GA; a brother, Danny Rabon, Webb; seven grandchildren, Jasmine Rabon, Faith Rabon, Wesley Rabon, Olivia Rabon, David Tew, Dylan Tew and Daniel Tew; several nieces and nephews.
