RUSSELL THOMAS PARRISH

HEADLAND, AL… Russell Thomas Parrish, a resident of Headland, Alabama, passed away Monday morning, March 7, 2022, at his home. He was 61.

            Graveside services will be 10:00 A.M., March 9, 2022 at Tolbert Baptist Church Cemetery with Brother Larry Elliott officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. Wright Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.

            In lieu of flowers, the family request honorary contributions be made to the Tolbert Baptist Church, attention to Charles Brackins, 175 McLain Street, Newville, Alabama 36353.

            Mr. Parrish was born in Dothan, Alabama to the late Ammie L. Parrish, Jr. and Margie Ann Vickers Parrish. He was a 1979 Graduate of Dale County High School. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force. He worked as a mechanic / machinist in the automotive industry until he retired due to a medically disability. He was a member of the Tolbert Baptist Church.

            Leaving to cherish his memories is his brother, Steven Parrish; his niece, Lila G. Parrish; and his nephew, Nathan F. Parrish.
