Ruth Waizenegger Schroeder of Newton went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 27, 2011, at the home of her daughter. She was 90.
Memorial services will be held at 2 P.M. Sunday, January 1, 2012, at Bethel Baptist Church in Newton with Reverend Drew Sawyer officiating.
Mrs. Schroeder was born November 9, 1921, in Germany. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Newton.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 62 years, Carl Schroeder.
Survivors include her daughters, Barbara McSween and her husband, Bill of Newton; Rose Marie Eisner of California, one brother of South Africa, five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
