Ruthell Barfield Cauthorn resident of Dothan died Wednesday, August 8, 2012 in Chattanooga , Tennessee. Graveside services will be held at 3:30 P. M.  Friday August 10, 2012 at Memory Hill Cemetery with  Reverend Jerry Hughes officiating, Ward Wilson funeral home directing.

 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3:00 until 3:30  P. M. prior to the service.

 

Mrs. Cauthorn was a lifetime residence of Houston County, a homemaker, a member of Piney Grove United Methodist Church and was a former employee of Dothan Hosiery Mill.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents , Curtis L. and Grace Barfield; son Carl Lee Cauthorn and daughter Cathy Lynn Cauthorn; sister Bobbie Nell Cherry and a brother C.L. Barfield.

 

Survivors include her husband Jesse Lee Cauthorn of Dothan;  one daughter Donna Kay Hobgood  of Chattanooga, Tennessee; three sons, Danny  and wife Elizabeth Cauthorn of Dothan; James R. and wife Susan Cauthorn of Chickamauga GA; and Doyle Cauthorn of Dothan;  one brother Jimmy Barfield of Dothan; six grandchildren Bonnie Moses, Matthew Cauthorn, Scott Hobgood, Jacob Hobgood, Amie Cauthorn Aiken, and Ashley Cauthorn;  three great grandchildren Skye, Zoe, Maya. Many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, including two special aunts, Pat Gallira, and Doris Calhoun.
