Sallie Nannette “Nan” Tidwell of Hartford, AL passed away on Saturday, July 2, 2022. She was 60 years old.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 in the chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home in Geneva. Burial will follow in the Pondtown Church cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday beginning at 10:00 a.m.

Nan was born in Orlando FL on March 23, 1962 to the late G.M. Toole and Sallie Annette Williams Chambers. She was a hardworking and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Nan always looked for the “good” in everyone she met.

In addition to her father, she is preceded in death her granddaughter, Maddison Richardson; one brother, Marvin Toole; and one sister, Lisa Johnson.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Doug Tidwell of Opp, AL; one daughter, Gabriella Tidwell of Geneva, AL; one granddaughter, Lisa Holland of Geneva, AL; mother, Annette Chambers of Geneva, AL; siblings, Suanna Peters of Atmore, AL, Jodie Helms, Luci King, Romona McAdams all of Geneva, AL, and Joey Tidwell of Hartford, AL; and several nieces and nephews.
