Shawn Smith, age 63, of Chancellor, Alabama, passed away Saturday, December 10, 2022 at his home.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, December 16, 2022 at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory with Pastor Tommy Smith and Derrick Cunningham officiating.  The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 P.M. until service time.  Flowers will be accepted or memorial donations may be made to the ALS Association Alabama Chapter, 300 Cahaba Park, Suite 209, Birmingham, AL 35242.

He was preceded in death by his parents Samuel Grady and Othella Bertha Smith.

Survivors include his wife, Kristie Smith, Chancellor, AL; three sons, Andrew Smith (Dana), Prattville, AL; Jonathan Smith (Tristan), Glenwood, AL; Tristan Smith, Chancellor, AL; two grandchildren, Sam and Katie Smith, Prattville, AL.

The family would like to give special thanks to Jennifer Baggett, Summer Cagle, Melissa Taylor and Jessica Owens for their care of Shawn.
