Sandra Gail Helms loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Passed from this earth to her eternal heavenly home in the early morning hours of April 10, 2021.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at Smith Chapel Assembly of God. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing. The family will receive friends at Smith Chapel Assembly of God Church on Monday, April 12, 2021 form 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.

She loved reading cookbooks, crocheting, and cooking for her family. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Carlie Junior Helms of 61 years; two brothers, Wayne Cheatom, and Dale Cheatom; two sisters, Joan Williams, and Lucille “Cookie” Smith.  

She is survived by three daughters, Laura, "Cricket” Helms of Johnson City, TN, Mildred "Mickey" Raines (Gerald) of Bonifay, FL, Clara "Candy" Green (Patrick) of Crawfordville, FL; one sister, Clair Buchanan; eight grandchildren, Jennifer Bamman, Jeremy Raines, Jeffery Raines (Ashley), Shelley Carroll (Shannon), Michael Raines (Sara), Aleasha Skipper (Aaron), Joedee Green (Scott), Patrick "Jr" Green; 18 great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and other extended family members that love her and will miss her dearly. Proverbs 1:8-9
