Sarah Ann Bennett, beloved daughter, sister, mother, and grandmother, passed away in recent weeks in Midland City, AL. She was born on September 16, 1956, in Greenville, AL to her late parents Ed and Patsy Bennett. She was a Geneva High School graduate of 1974.

A graveside service will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Geneva, AL at a later date. Condolences can be registered at www.whwfuneralhome.com

Throughout her life, Sarah had a passion for travel that took her to many places around the world. She found solace in exploring new cultures and experiencing new landscapes. Music was another one of Sarah’s loves; it spoke to her soul in ways that words could not express.

Sarah’s memory will forever be cherished by her loving daughter Jillian DeMatteo, son-in-law Jacob and grandchildren Alec Jacob, Joli Caroline and Annabelle Autumn. Sarah is also survived by her loving brothers Ricky (Cathy) and Mickey (Angie) Bennett.

In honor of Sarah’s compassionate nature toward animals throughout her life, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the SOS Animal Adoption Center (www.sosshelter.com/donate) in lieu of flowers.
