Sarah Frances Lynn Miller, a lifetime resident of Ashford, passed away Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at her residence following an extended illness. She was 95.

Graveside services will be held 10:00 am, Saturday, August 14, 2021 at Ashford City Cemetery with the Reverend Jim Corley officiating and Glover Funeral Home directing. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Kindred Hospice, 2740 Headland Avenue, Dothan, Alabama, 36303, or Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 477 Liberty Road, Pansey, Alabama, 36370.

Mrs. Miller was born April 10, 1926 in Houston County to John Austin and Kittie Clyde Pate Lynn. She was employed with Wex-Tex for many years. Following retirement, she enjoyed working in her vegetable garden and growing flowers. Mrs. Miller was a member of Liberty Baptist Church.

She is predeceased by her parents, her husband, Tom Miller, a son, Rufus Alan Miller and all of her brothers and sisters.

Survivors include four children, Leneve McCord of Ashford, William Thomas “Tom” Miller (Connie) of Bettendorf, Iowa, Carol Barfield (Kenneth) of Ashford and Charles R. “Bob” Miller of Ashford; six grandchildren, Mike McCord (Cindy), Sherri Freeman (Ron), Heather Barfield, Kevin Barfield, Brian Barfield, David Miller; eight great-grandchildren; several great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive.
