Sarah Kathleen (Whitehead) Smith 96 of Elba, AL departed this life Monday, August 24, 2020 at her home in Elba, Alabama. A private family gathering will take place at Wesley Chapel cemetery. She will be laid to rest beside her husband of 45 years, Ralph (Smitty) Smith.

 

     Survivors include: Son - Earl (Marilyn) Byrd, Elba, AL, Son - Haldon (Linda) Byrd, Daughter - Gloria Faye (Frank) Sawyer, 16 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren.

 

     Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Rena Bell Whitehead, her siblings, Jim Tom (JT), Foy, Burbon and Norma Ruth Deason.

 

     The family will receive friends at her home 19 Private Road 1505 Elba, AL.

 

     Hayes Funeral Home of Elba, Alabama is serving the Smith family.
