 SGM Retired Ronnie Lemar Seay of Geneva, Alabama passed away Monday, August 29,2022, at the age of 69.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 2,2022 in the Chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home Geneva, Alabama with the Rev. Ricky Hall officiating. Burial will follow with full military rites in the Eunola Cemetery with full military honors and Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 6 to 8 pm.

 Ronnie was born July 25,1953 in Geneva, AL to the late Early Oliver and Eunice Inez Sellers Seay. Ronnie was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.  He was a graduate of Geneva High School Class of 1971.  He was an avid Alabama Crimson Tide football fan. Ronnie served as the Adjutant of the American Legion Post 59 in Geneva and was a member of the River Junction Cruisers Car Club.

 He was preceded in death by his parents; sister; Lois Johnson; brothers: Jerry Seay, Harvey Seay and David Seay.

 Ronnie served in the AL AR NG for 38 and a half years total service. He joined as a Private and retired as a Sergeant Major. Ronnie joined the Alabama Army National Guard Oct 6, 1972 and completed his initial entry Basic Training Jan 18, 1973. His career entailed positions from Company Clerk, Administrative Specialist, Supply Sergeant, Admin Supervisor, Training NCO, Platoon Sergeant, SR Admin NCO, to Chief Personnel Service Sergeant.

Ronnie is survived by his wife, Susan Seay, Geneva, AL; three children, Heather Cayton (Todd) of Portland, OR, Jennifer Palmer (Steve) of Andalusia, AL and Eric Bullard (Chara) of Elba, AL; grandchildren, Ryan Palmer (Hollie), Dalton Palmer, Morgan Carlisle (Brett), Elizabeth Bullard, Jack Bullard, Kymbria Bimbo, and Braylee Bimbo. Two great-grandchildren Rollins Carlisle and Chase Palmer; two sisters, Linda Prater of Enterprise, AL and Doris Bryan of Geneva, AL, two brothers, Gary Seay (Marie)of Taylor, AL and Larry Seay of Dothan, AL; numerous nieces and nephews

 Serving as Pallbearers; Allen Brewer, Justin Yarbrough, Corky Newman, Charlie Grantham, Tony Driggers and Terry King.

 Honorary Pallbearers will be the River Junction Cruisers Car Club
