Shanna “Nana” Griffin

 

Mrs. Shanna Griffin (Nana) was born to the late Hattie Mathis Griffin and Charles Griffin, Sr on January 16, 1969. She accepted Christ at a very early age.  She was truly a woman of God. She enjoyed playing her guitar, singing and she was known as Nana the girl from St. Pete that could swing her nunchucks.  She loved her family dearly, and there was not anything she would not do for them. She had a beautiful smile that would light up a room that will truly be missed.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Brandy Griffin and her mother Hattie Mathis Griffin.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her father Charles Griffin, Sr (Peggy), Dothan, AL; two sons Justin Griffin (Pearl) Houston, Texas, Joshua Griffin Dothan, AL; four grandkids Jowan, Jayden, Gahanna Griffin and Zaylin Neal; two brothers Charles Griffin (Catrenia) Panama City, Florida, Brandon Griffin; two sisters Tracey Haynes (Allen) Dothan, AL, Tanya Turner (Nakia) Dothan, AL. She had a host of aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews all that she loved. A very special nephew Boonanny and a very special 16/16 niece Jasmine.  Special friends:  Dwight Anderson, Theresa Pryor, Sammy Walker; close nephews Jeremy, Chewy, Ray-Ray, Mercedes and Billy (oh how she loved Billy hugs).
