Mrs. Sharon Dyer Brozoski, age 78, passed away at her residence in Enterprise, AL, on Saturday, May 27, 2017, surrounded by her family.

A funeral mass will be held Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at 11 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Enterprise, AL, with Father Wayne Youngman officiating and Sorrells Funeral Home and Crematory directing.  The family will receive friends at Sorrells Funeral Home Monday, June 5, 2017, from 5 until 7 p.m. with a Rosary being said at 4:30 p.m.  A private burial will be held at a later date.

Ms. Sharon, as she was affectionately called, was born June 28, 1938, in Endicott, NY, to Helen and Lawrence Dyer.  She has lived in Enterprise, AL for the past 43 years.  She worked in the medical profession throughout her life as a nurse and, later, as a medical transcriptionist.  Sharon was a long-time Bereavement Minister at St John the Evangelist Catholic Church, organizing funeral services and comforting families who had lost loved ones.  Sharon enjoyed volunteering her time to the American Cancer Society, raising money for the Relay for Life, and baking cookies to be sent to deployed Service Members. Sharon was a devoted wife, mother, and friend.  Having her family and friends together around the dinner table brought Sharon great enjoyment.

Ms. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Helen and Lawrence Dyer, and her husband, Leonard Brozoski.

Survivors include her sons: Kevin and Frederick Brozoski; as well as several cousins in Binghamton and Whitney Point, NY, and her extended family in Canada.

The family thanks the nurses, aides, and occupational and physical therapists from Kindred at Home and Kindred Hospice for their dedicated efforts and loving support over the past 15 month, as well as their many friends and church family for their prayers and support during her illness.
