Shelby Lee Golden, age 73 of Pansey, AL, passed away Sunday, November 10, 2019 at his residence following an extended illness.

A gathering for family and friends will be held at 11am Saturday, November 30, 2019 at Family First Funeral Care and all are invited to attend to remember and celebrate the life of Shelby Golden.

Shelby was born February 12, 1946 to the late Frank and Lois Dillard Golden in Troy. Early on Shelby moved to Dallas where he lived for many years. Twenty-five years ago, he returned to Alabama and lived in Pansey all that time. He worked at Ft. Rucker as a Master Plumber before he retired. Shelby was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his parents, Shelby was preceded in death by a brother, Tony Golden. He is survived by two children, Stephanie Catratt (David) and Jessica Roberts; a brother and sister-in-law, Johnnie and Sue Golden; four grandchildren, William, John, Lauren and Stephen; four great-grandchildren, JC, Averleigh, Donavan and Jessie Lee. In addition, a niece, Christie Golden; a great-niece, Rosalie and a great-nephew, Noah also survive.
