Sherri Williams

 

       Sherri Williams, a resident of Dothan, AL passed away Monday, March 7, 2022 at Flowers Hospital.  She was 62.

       Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 10, 2022 @ 11:00 AM at Family First Funeral Care Chapel with Pastor Scott Cox officiating.  Visitation will be from 10-11 AM at Family First Funeral Care Chapel. Internment will follow at  Enon Church of Christ Cemetery in Webb, AL.

       Sherri Williams was born to Billy Joseph Williams and Willie Pearl (Roney) Williams on February 16, 1960. She was a graduate of Ashford Academy high school in 1975.  She went on to attend Alabama University and Auburn University before graduating with a dual major in psychology and social work from Troy University in 1983.  Sherri had a heart for people as she worked most of her career under her social work degree while serving her community via her gift, be it through hospice care, or her last job before she fell ill, Saliba Family Service Center. Sherri was a member of Bay Springs Baptist Church where she also loved to serve and help others.

       Sherri was preceded in death by her father Billy Joseph Williams.

       She leaves to cherish her memories her loving mother; Willie Pearl Williams, her son; Adam Knox and his father Ken Knox, Her sisters; Denise (John) Cameron, and Valarie Savage (Ed Sullivan), Nieces; Kasey Savage, Carmen Tavares, Nephews; Cody Cameron (Kinley), Clay Cameron (Jen). Good friends: Mike & Diane Burns and a host of other friends and relatives that will miss her dearly.
