MALVERN. . .Shirley Riley Woodham, a resident of Malvern, died early Thursday evening, October 20, 2022, in a Dothan hospital. She was 87.

Private graveside services for the family will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, October 22, 2022, in Gardens of Memory, between Headland & Dothan, with Reverend Rick Glenn officiating. Holman-Headland Mortuary & Cremations is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Woodham was born and reared in Henry County, near Newville, daughter of the late William Harry Riley and Florence Blackmon Riley. She lived in Dothan before moving to Malvern in 1996. Mrs. Woodham was a member of Grandview Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marion Hopewell Woodham, two sons, Stanley Woodham and Leslie Alan Woodham, a son-in-law, Olan Martin and all her sisters and brothers.

Surviving relatives include a daughter, Starla Woodham Martin, Malvern, AL; three sons, Earl Woodham (Darlene), Concord, NC; Steven Woodham and Jamey Woodham (Misty), all of Dothan; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-greatgrandchildren.
