Shirley Stott Linderman of Level Plains passed away on Saturday, October 20th 2012 after an extended battle with Diabetes. She was 77. Shirley was born on March 12th 1935 in Scranton Pennsylvania; she lived in the Greenridge section and attended Central High School.


             Shirley was a faithful Christian and followed the teachings of Christ with a joyful heart. She served as the Secretary Treasurer of her church for 20 years. Shirley believed in the gifts of the Spirit and prayed fervently for friends, family and those in need


            Shirley is preceded in death by her parents Charles Joseph Stott and Mary Josephine Evans-Stott, her brother Charles “Chipper” Stott and her youngest son Scott Anthony Linderman.


            Shirley is survived by her husband Charles “Lindy “ Linderman, Her sons Charles “Chuck” (Shelly )Linderman, and Steven (Molly) Stott, and her sister Marion Schultz of Milwaukee Pa. Shirley’s surviving grandchildren are Charles “Jamie “ Linderman of Ft. Lewis, WA. , Amber Hobbs of Daleville Al, Shirley Linderman of Seattle  WA, Matlei Phares and Jordan of Nottingham  both of Dothan, Al.


            Shirley was survived by 3 great grandchildren, Noah Linderman of Lincoln, Al, Tarja Hobbs of Daleville, Al, and Mikaela Phares of Dothan, Al.


            Service will be held Monday, Oct 22nd 2012, at 5 PM at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel with Pastor John D. Reese III officiating and Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory directing. Friends will be received 1 hour prior to service.
