Shirley Lenelle Watson Yarbrough of Westville, FL passed away on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at her home. She was 83 years old.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 3, 2021 in the chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home with Rev. Phil Baxley officiating. Burial will follow at Midway Cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.

Mrs. Yarbrough was born in New Brockton, AL on January 26, 1938 to the late John and Kate Stephens Watson. Shirley loved going to the beach, eating out with family and friends, and working with her birds. She believed in working hard. Shirley’s family was very dear to her and she loved them immensely.   

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin Yarbrough; one son, Travis Yarbrough; siblings, Lois Grant, Frances Lindsey, Peggy Hyatt, John Watson, Jr., Massey Watson, and Hulon Watson.  

She is survived by six children, Cindy Guyette (Joe) of Enterprise, AL; Shelia Yarbrough Dixon (Hobie) of Geneva, AL, Michelle Hall (Donnie) of Black, AL, Frank Yarbrough (Mary) of Geneva, AL, Debra Wilson, and Cathy Cooper of Enterprise, AL; ten grandchildren, Ronnie, Brad, Heather, Porsha, Cody, Hunter, Megan, Cobie, Tabitha and Lee; many great and great-great grandchildren; two sisters, Jean Sowell (Mark), and Sara Nell Cooper; and many nieces and nephews.
