Ms. Shyrel W. Kirkland, age 62,  a resident of Bristol, Florida, died Saturday, June 15, 2013 at her daughter's residence in Cowarts following a brief illness.

 

A family Memorial service will be held at New Harmony Freewill Baptist Church in Cottonwood at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, 6/19/13.

 

Shyrel was born January 5, 1951 in Ft. Benning, Georgia.  She was of the Baptist Faith.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents Pete Shiver and Lucille Holloway White.

 

Survivors include: husband, Billy Kirkland, Bristol, FL; two daughters, Luci Kirkland, Cowarts and Sheree Wright, Dothan; two brothers, Robert and E. W. Clements; three grandsons, Cole Jeter, Cowarts, Justin Wilson and Austin Wright both of Dothan; a special nephew, Johnny Joyner, Southport, FL.
