Sonya Lynn Kilcrease Cook of Samson, AL (Ino Community) passed away on Saturday, May 27, 2023, in a Dothan hospital. She was 55 years old.

 Celebration of Life services will be announced at a later time.

 Sonya was born in Elba, AL on March 16,1968 to Charles Lamar and Charlotte Annette Free Kilcrease. Sonya was an RN for 36 years and was passionate about nursing and caring for her patients. Sonya loved having her animals and cared deeply for their wellbeing.

 Sonya is preceded in death by her parents.

 Sonya is survived her loving and devoted husband, Randy Cook of the Ino community; one sister, Monica Collins (Brian) of Kinston, AL; nephews, Tyler Collins of Kinston, AL and Zack Grondin of Phoenix, AZ; two step-daughters, Samantha Cowards of Andalusia, AL and Chelsie Watley (Evan) of Kinston, AL; four step-grandsons, Kevin Crawford, Caden Cowards, Parker Taylor and Reed Watley; a host of extended family and friends also survive.
