Stanley Crawford

Stanley Crawford, age 70 of Ashford, passed away early Thursday morning, November 26, 2020, at his residence.

Graveside services for Mr. Stanley will be held at 11am Monday, November 30, 2020 in the Cedar Springs Baptist Church cemetery with Gary Brackin speaking. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial contributions be made to the Cedar Springs Baptist Church cemetery fund, C/O Mr. Johnny King, 974 Jack Bruner Rd., Ashford, AL 36312.

Stanley was born September 30, 1950 in Houston County to the late Rex and Sybil Knight Crawford. He was involved in construction all his life. He enjoyed fishing and following Auburn athletics. Stanley was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his parents, Stanley is preceded in death by a son, Jason Stanley Crawford as well as his mother and father-in-law, Lloyd and Jean Penuel. He is survived by his wife, Linda Penuel Crawford of Ashford and two grandchildren, Chandler Crawford of Auburn and Taylor Crawford of Jakin, GA; two brothers, David (Linda) Crawford of Greenville, TN and Greg Crawford of Echo.  The family would also like to extend a very special thank you to his caregiver, Jon Neil Brackin.
