Stanley Eric Lawrence, a resident of Dothan, died Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at Flowers Hospital. He was 66.

Memorial services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 6, 2021 at Glover Funeral Home Chapel  with Reverend Jimmy Williams officiating and Glover Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the memorial service.

Flowers are being accepted or memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Mr. Lawrence was born September 20, 1955 in Donalsonville, Georgia and attended Cottonwood High School. He was employed with Meadow Gold as a truck driver for 25 years and later worked as a logistics manager with Southeast Sheet Metal for 15 years. He was of the Baptist faith.

Mr. Lawrence is predeceased by his parents, Perry and Charlotte Lawrence, his step-mother, Annette Lawrence, his wife of  35 years, Mary Sue Lawrence and a brother, Jimmy Lawrence.

He is survived by Susan of Dothan; three children, Christopher “Eric” Lawrence (Jennifer) of Headland, “Justin” Ryan Lawrence (Lynn) of Headland; a daughter, Erica Suzanne “Kakki” Kirkand of Rehobeth; grandchildren, Zachary, Zoey, Zane, Zeb, Zayden, Zada, Hunter, Madison, Conner, Mason, Ava, Delia, Livi, Madalyn ad Ellie Kate; two great-grandchildren, Caleb and Elizabeth; a step-son, Lee Yancey of FL; two brothers, Steve Lawrence (Kay) of Jasper, GA and Larry Lawrence (Cindy) of Lake Harding; a precious fur baby, “Talli”.
