Funeral services will be held 2:00pm on Friday, July 15, 2022 at Sunset Funeral Home chapel with Dr. Ernie Gray officiating. Burial will follow at Pinckard Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the services. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cloverdale United Methodist Church, 102 Rollins Avenue, Dothan, AL 36301 or Pinckard Memorial Cemetery Fund, PO Box 353, Pinckard, AL 36371.

Sterling Burch Poole, a resident of Dothan, passed away on Monday, July 11, 2022. He was 82 years old.

Burch was preceded in death by his parents, Hubert Sidney and Wanda Ione Burch Poole; his brothers, Rueben Poole and Johnny Poole; and his brothers-in-law, Adger Thomas and Billy Andrews.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Sue Andrews Poole; his daughters, Suzanne (Rick) Holston and Shannon (Andy) Grammer; his grandchildren, Chloe Grammer, Katie Holston, Jeff Holston, and Nick Grammer; his sister, Joan Thomas; his sisters-in-law, Pat Poole, Sherry (Jerry) Hoole, Judy (Bill) Roberts, and Charlotte Andrews; and nieces, nephews, and extended family.
