Date of Service A celebration of her life will be held at 2 pm on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Newton City Cemetery with Sunset Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 1-2 pm.

Sula Vickers, a resident of Ozark, AL, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, January 31, 2021 at her residence. She was 83 years old.
A celebration of her life will be held at 2 pm on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Newton City Cemetery with Sunset Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 1-2 pm.
Mrs. Vickers was born on January 2, 1938 in Philadelphia, MS and lived there the early years of her life. Mrs. Vickers was a Godly woman and loved the Lord with all her heart. She was a member of Pinckard Baptist Church.
Mrs. Vickers was preceded in death by her husband, Buford Vickers, her daughter, Debbie Landry, and one grandson, Heith Sherrer, and 11 of her siblings.
Survivors include her daughters, Cindy (Rick) Mathews and Betty (Ricky) Meeks; her 6 grandchildren; her 13 great-grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren.
