Sylvia Anneth “Annette” Landingham Cooper of Samson passed away on Monday, January 29, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was 82.

Graveside funeral services were held on Thursday, February 01, 2024, at Eight Mile Cemetery with Rev. Larry Sowell officiating and Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing.

Mrs. Cooper was born in Walton County, FL on February 18, 1941, to the late G.P. and Inez Zorn Landingham. Annette was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family. She enjoyed cooking, flower gardening and anything to do with the outdoors. She especially cherished the times spent with family picking berries in the summertime. Annette loved the Lord and attended church as long as her health permitted. She loved to sing and fellowship with God’s people.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Edward Cooper; two sons, Scott “Bocephus” Cooper and Donnie Cooper; one daughter, Pam Nolan; grandson, Dustin Cooper and one brother, Hilton Landingham.

Annette is survived by her son, Keith Cooper (Kathy) of Samson; grandchildren, Zack Cooper of Samson, AL. Dakotah Cooper Sellers (John) of Taylor, AL. Dillon Cooper (Dorothy) of Columbus, GA. Chelsey Cooper (Eric Bobrowski) of Pensacola, FL. siblings, Gerald Landingham (Lanette) of Samson, AL. Florence Pelham of Bridge City, TX. and Noman Landingham of Samson, AL.; great grandchildren, Annah, Taylor, Holly, Jameson, Easton, Cora, Revera, Cannan, and Aubree; and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
