Sylvia Gayle Benton Parker
January 25, 1947 - October 17, 2023

Sylvia Gayle Benton Parker, 76, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at her home in
Panama City, FL surrounded by her loving family.
Sylvia was a faithful servant of the Lord, a devoted wife and pastor’s wife, serving alongside her husband
wherever God led them. She was the epitome of the Proverbs 31 woman who loved her children,
grandchildren, and great grandchildren fiercely.
She is preceded in death by her parents, R. C. and Verbie Benton, and her brother, Ronald Coleman
Benton.
She is survived by her loving husband, Mike Parker, daughters Tina Willis (Jim), and Angie Baker (Keith),
and son Jason Parker (Christy), grandchildren Kenton Baker (Victoria), David Willis (Nancy), Camden
Baker (Myah), Nathan Willis, Lexi Corner (Nathan), Alyssa Baker, and Jeremy Parker. Great-grandchildren
Anna Baker, Koa Baker, Kai Baker, Hudson Baker and Sophia Corner and sister Wanda Waters (Tommy)
as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 20, 2023, at 10:30am at Pleasant Plains Baptist
Church cemetery, 7220 County Road 22, Headland, AL 36345.
