TAMELA SHAVON DIXON

HEADLAND.…Tamela Shavon Dixon, a resident of Headland, Alabama, passed away Saturday night, January 16, 2021, at a Dothan hospital. She was 51.

            A celebration of life service will be held 12:00 P.M., Saturday, January 23, 2021, at the family residence, 9952 State Highway 173 North, Headland, Alabama. Wright Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.

            Mrs. Dixon was born in Henry County and lived there most of her lifetime. While her husband was in the military, they had lived in Georgia, Texas, and Japan. She had worked at Southeast Health in several different roles.

            Preceding her in death is her father, Samuel Thomas.

            Leaving to cherish her memories are her husband of thirty-five years, Keith Wendell Dixon; her daughters, Ebony Simone Jackson Goodman of Headland, AL; her son, Joshua Wendell Dixon of Headland, AL; her step-son, Eric Jones of Dothan, AL; her mother, Shirley Ann Jackson of Headland, AL; her sisters Shuna Jackson of Dothan, AL, and Brenda Watson of Dothan, AL; her three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
