Tammy Diane Nowell of Hartford passed away at Southeast Alabama Medical Center on Friday, August 14, 2015 after a brief illness.  She was 56.  A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at the Geneva First United Methodist Church with Rev. Jake Brady officiating and Pittman Funeral Home of Geneva directing.  The family will receive friends prior to the service on Tuesday beginning at 9:00 a.m.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church, 304 S. Academy St., Geneva, AL 36340.

Tammy was born in Dothan, AL on October 21, 1958 to the late Huey Killingsworth and Ruth Spears Yeomens.  She was very artistic and had a incredible talent for painting.  She was also preceded in death by her step-father, A.C. Yeomens.

She is survived by two sons, Chad Jenkins and Alex Nowell, both of Hartford; daughter, Amy Nowell Gray (Jeff) of Geneva; three grandchildren, Maeleigh Gray Sabastian Nowell and Peyton Gray; brother, Bobby Killingsworth (Teresa) and Stacy Yeomans; and a sister, Janet White (Jody), all of Graceville, FL.
