Obituary: Taylor Madison Bigelow

 

Taylor Madison Bigelow of Greenwood, FL, formerly of Wicksburg, passed away Saturday, September 18, 2021.  He was 22. 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, September 24, 2021 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home in Slocomb.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to service time. 

Taylor was born June 4, 1999 in Houston County to Sandra Hammon and Casey Bigelow. He graduated from Wicksburg High School in 2017 and enlisted in the United States Army after graduation. While paratrooping in Afghanistan, Taylor suffered a shoulder injury and was honorably discharged from the military.  He enjoyed the outdoors; loved Motocross, racing, fixing things, was always on the go, and would tinker with anything. He adored his family and will be deeply missed! 

Survivors include his mother, Sandra Hammon Anderson (Jason); father, Casey Bigelow (Cara); sisters: Samantha Gagnon, and Aspen Bigelow; brothers: Archer Bigelow, and Cypress Bigelow; step-sister, Leah-Brooke Anderson; step-brother, Will Anderson; grandparents: Chuck Bigelow, Sandy Bigelow, Steve Hammon, Tina Battles, Ronnie Anderson, and Shelia Duby (Andrew); girlfriend, Willow Collum; many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and other extended family and friends.
