Ted Dalton Brunson, age 83, of Clayhatchee, AL, passed away Monday, May 29, 2023 at his home with his family at his side.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, June 3, 2023 at Providence Baptist Church with Rev. Chad Hixson and Rev. Tommy Green officiating.  Burial will follow in Providence Church Cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory directing.  The family will receive friends at the church from 10:00 A.M. until service time.  Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Providence Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.

Ted worked at Solomon Chevrolet as Assistant Service Manager for 22 years.  After retiring from Solomon, he drove the activities bus for Enterprise State Community College for many years.  He was a member of Providence Baptist Church and served as Deacon and Trustee for many years.

He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Ruth Chalker Brunson, brothers Ralph and Jimmy Brunson and sister Eloise Brooks.

Survivors include his wife Edna Beam Brunson, Clayhatchee, AL; sons and daughters-in-law, Roy and Anne Brunson, Lowell, AR; Jason and Julie Brunson, Enterprise, AL; seven grandchildren, Ryan (Hannah), Tyler, Andrew, Trevor, Kade, Thomas and Christian Brunson.
