Mrs. Thelma Moon Morrow of Tahlequah, Oklahoma formerly of Geneva, Alabama went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 29, 2015.  She was 85.

Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 4, 2015, in the Goodwater Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery in Wicksburg with Rev. Michael Gibson officiating and Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home in Geneva directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, December 3, 2015, from 5 until 7 p.m.

Mrs. Morrow was born February 9, 1931, in Geneva County, Alabama to the late Robert and Willie Dell Rutherford Moon.  For a number of years she worked at Halls Café in Geneva.  She enjoyed cooking for her family and watching them enjoy her savory dishes.  She was a loving, devoted mother and grandmother and was of the Pentecostal Faith.

In addition to her parents her husband, Rex Morrow, a daughter, Sarah Annie Pitts, a granddaughter, Tessie Ann Anderson, as well as four brothers and sisters preceded her in death.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Coy and Susan Pitts of Wicksburg, AL; three daughters and sons-in-law: Mae and Toby Langford of Hartford, AL, Ann and Bobby Legear of Geneva, AL and Sarah and larry Haney of Tahlequah, OK; 10 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other extended family and friends.
