OZARK… Thomas K. Wise (SFC, United States Army, Retired), a resident of Ozark, died late Tuesday evening, May 14, 2019 at his home following a brief illness with cancer. He was 69.


            Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday May 24, 2019 in the Earl Bankston Memorial Chapel with Hospice Chaplain, Adam Mulliner officiating. Graveside services with military honors, will follow in Woodlawn Memory Gardens. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.


            Flowers will be accepted, or memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123.


            Mr. Wise, son of the late Billy K. Wise and Delma Wise Johnson, was a native of Eufaula and had moved to Ozark at an early age. He was a 1967 Graduate of Carroll High School and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems Technology from Troy University. Mr. Wise served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam Era and was retired from the United States Army. He was a graduate of the Army Aviation Center of Excellence. Mr. Wise attended the Ozark Baptist Church. He was beloved by family and friends for his delight in life and enjoyed making others laugh and smile. Mr. Wise was preceded in death by his brother, Lee (Toby) A. Cramer.


            Surviving relatives include his wife, Judy Coots Wise; his daughter, Heather Harris, both of Ozark and his son, Mark Wise (Janin), Enterprise; five grandchildren, Torissa Martinez; Tovi Inge, Samuel Wise, Kael Wise, and Bradyn Harris.
