ECHO COMMUNITY… Mr. Thurston Layvon Prince, a resident of the Echo Community, near Ozark, died Wednesday, July 28, 2021, at his home. He was 64.


            In keeping with the wishes of the family, private family services will be held at a later date. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.


            Mr. Prince was born December 31, 1956, in Fulton County, Georgia and lived most of his lifetime in the Echo Community. He was retired as a Diesel mechanic and was a veteran of the Alabama Army National Guard. Mr. Prince enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, fishing and cutting grass. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Tommy.


            Surviving relatives include his son, Thomas Prince (Heidi), Dothan; three sisters, Joyce Gohagan (Carl), Vickie Prince, and Renee Buckner; several nieces and nephews.
