Tika Wykeylia Jones Walker

 

      On Sunday, August 8, 2021, God blew his trumpet to call out beloved sister, Tika Jones Walker home to rest.  Born August 3, 1985, Tika has just celebrated her 36^th birthday. 

        Funeral Services will be held Sunday August 15, 2021 at Family First Funeral Care Chapel (965 Woodland Drive) @ 2:00 p.m.  At the families request the doors to the chapel will remain closed until the family has been seated.  Visitation will be held at Family First Funeral Care on Saturday night (8/14/2021) from 6-8 p.m.  All donations are welcome to $FFFC965 or to the family Go Fund Me Page set up in Tika’s memory. 

        Tika was born to the late Marilyn Edwards and her surviving father Napoleon Walker in Dothan, AL.  Tika was a graduate of Dothan High School, and an absolute lover of the Auburn Tigers College Football team.

        Tika was preceded in death by her mother Marilyn Edwards, Uncles; Dezario Jones and Lee Walker and grandmother; Mary Lois Walker Bennett.

        Tika leaves to cherish her memories her six children:  Jatavious Jackson, Tykerria Durry, Jarvis Jackson, Jayden Jones, Zaniya Jones, and Zyriah Jones.  Two sisters:  Erica Jones, Shawnterra (Edward) McCree, Her grandparents: Mary Jones and Napoleon Walker, Sr., Aunts: Deborah Walker, Nina Fryer, Tamara Williams, Barbara Walker, Rochelle (Anthony) Brown, Jill (Heny) Williams, Elaine (Rayford) Crook.  Uncles: Ricky Jones, James (Jamie) Rich, and Raybon (Maya) Walker. Nieces: Tianna McCree, Kadashia Durry, and Zalika Durry.  Nephews: Elijah Allen and Edward McCree.  Tika was well know and loved in the community by everyone she met. She will truly be missed by a host of cousins other relatives and friends.
