Timothy David Hanes departed from his earthly home on Wednesday, September 2, 2021 with his family by his side. He was 52 years old.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 7, 2021 in the chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home in Geneva, AL. Burial will follow in the Whitewater Baptist Church Cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, September 6, 2021 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m.

David was born on August 21, 1969 in Geneva, AL to Evie Hanes and the late Johnny Hanes. He was preceded in death by his father, Johnny Hanes of Bonifay, FL; grandparents, RV and Louise Hanes of Bonifay, FL, Harvey and Thelma Strickland of Samson, AL; special daughter, Kristin King of Bonifay, FL.

David loved spending time with his family, especially with his daughter, Timra and his grandchildren. David had a heart of gold and he enjoyed helping others, joking, and kidding around with family and friends.

He is survived by his fiancé, Marilyn King of Bonifay, FL; beloved daughter, Timra (Josh) Miller of Prosperity, FL; special daughter, Katie King (Adam) of Bonifay, FL; mother, Evie Hanes (Jim) of Bonifay, FL; sister, Michele Hudson (Kevin) of Enterprise, AL; grandchildren, Hadleigh, Leyton, and Briella Miller, Adeline Register, and Colt Majors; two nephews, Zachary and Addison Hudson; numerous special aunts, uncles, and cousins.
