Tom "Bear" Beizaks, known affectionately as Bear to his friends and loved ones, left this world on December 23, 2023, at the age of 68. Born on June 8, 1955, in Cicero, Illinois, Bear grew up with a vibrant spirit that would define his entire life. His passing in Dothan, Alabama, has left a void in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.
Bear shared a life full of love and laughter with his beloved wife, Sheri Beizaks. Together, they created a home that was always welcoming and full of joy. Bear was cherished by his family, which includes a stepson, Richard Rice (Chrissy) his sisters-in-law, Rebecca Stahulak (Robert), Laura Grossmann, Debra DeBelis, and brother-in-law, Arthur Bobik (Pam) as well as many nieces and nephews. He was a pillar of strength and support, always ready with a kind word or a generous act.
After completing a year of college, Bear embarked on a career that was as unique as his personality. He worked as a printer, crafting sticky labels for renowned companies such as Kikkoman, and even the popcorn labels that so many have come to recognize. His work was not just a job; it was an extension of his meticulous nature and his commitment to excellence.
Bear's interests were as colorful as his character. He was a dedicated husband, taking great care of his wife and ensuring that their life together was full of cherished moments. His infectious energy made him a party animal, often the center of entertainment at gatherings. His sense of humor and ability to bring smiles to people's faces were legendary.
