Tommy Burns of Samson, AL passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2024.

 Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, in the chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Burns officiating. Burial will follow at Liberty Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward of Geneva, AL directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday beginning at 2 p.m.

 Mr. Burns was born in DeFuniak Springs, FL on May 1, 1960. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, fishing, working in his yard and riding his four-wheeler. He enjoyed attending church at Shady Grove Assembly of God, and weekly Bible study with his brother. Most of all, he loved his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchild, always bragging on them to everyone.

 He was preceded in death by his son, Brad Burns, infant brother, Steve Burns, father, Clark Burns and step-father, Bennie Stafford.

 Tommy is survived by his mother, Wynell Stafford; two daughters, Leah Lamb (Stephen), Casey Burns Lamb (Josh Ealum); five grandchildren, Nikki Pettis (Colton), Pazley Lamb, Aubree Lamb, Tyler Lamb, Hunter Lamb; one great-grandchild, MollyAnn Pettis; one brother, Danny Burns (Patty); one sister, Wanda Brackin (David) all of Samson, AL.; and many special nieces and nephews.

 Serving as pallbearers will be Derrick Purvis, Colton Pettis, Devin Brackin, Tyler Lamb, Hunter Lamb, and Darryl Purvis.
