Tommy Ray Blackmon, a resident of Dothan, passed away on Saturday, June 12, 2021, at his residence. He was 64 years old.
A celebration of his life will be held at 3 pm on Thursday, June 17, 2021, in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles Goldsmith officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 2-3 pm.
Mr. Blackmon was born on May 22, 1957, in Barbour County, Alabama to Millard and Myrtle Johnson Blackmon. He lived there the early years of his life. Tommy and Bonnie were married in 1978 and to that union their daughter, Sherry was born. They were later divorced. Tommy enjoyed watching football and was an avid Alabama Fan. He enjoyed listening to classic country music and watched wrestling.
Mr. Blackmon was preceded in death by his father, Millard Blackmon and by his brother, Ronnie Blackmon.
Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Sherry and Chris Enfinger; his grandchildren, Anthony Blackmon and Alexis Enfinger; his mother, Myrtle Blackmon; his sisters, Barbara Shepard (Larry White), Brenda Wood, and Bonnie Blackmon; and several nieces and nephews.
