Mr. Troy Patterson Ballard of Chancellor, AL passed away on Thursday, November 26, 2020. He was 78 years old.

 Funeral services will be held on Sunday, November 29, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home in Geneva with Rev. W.H. Wilson officiating.   Burial will follow in Friendship Community Cemetery in Geneva, AL with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday evening from 6 until 8 p.m.

 Mr. Troy was born in Geneva County, AL on July 14, 1942 to the late James Victor and Flora Grace Byrd Ballard. He was an active member of the Chancellor Independent Church. He was an avid outdoorsman who especially loved to fish. He was known among his family and close friends as an accomplished “Mr. Fix It”. He retired as the Forman of Donnell Sand Company after 43 years of service.

 In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Tamalyn

 Ballard Faulk, three brothers and three sisters.

 Mr. Ballard is survived by his wife of 56 years, Sharon Ballard of Chancellor, AL,  two sons, Stevie Patterson Ballard (Deborah) of the Goodman Community, Scotty Allen Ballard (Misty) of Enterprise, AL, six grandchildren, Bradley Ballard of Geneva, AL, Jarett Ballard of Chancellor, AL, Steffan Ballard of Geneva, AL, Jonathon Faulk (Kaylin) of Chancellor, AL, Hannah Ballard and Rebekah Ballard, both  of Enterprise, AL,

five great-grandchildren, Krista Ballard, Troy Ballard, Steven Ballard, Everly Ballard and Luke Faulk and one great-great-grandchild, Cameron Smith and one brother, Winford Ballard (Judy) Chancellor, AL and a number of nieces and nephews.
