Vera M. Hausfelder of Enterprise, Alabama passed away on Wednesday, August 18, 2021.  She was 95.

Funeral services will be on Monday, August 23, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at Sorrells Funeral Home in Enterprise with Pastor Jim Endrihs officiating.  Burial will follow at Meadowlawn Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 9:00 a.m. and continue until time of service.

Vera was born in Germany on May 6, 1926 to the late Albert and Berta Giesel.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald F. “Don” Hausfelder; and son, Mark Albert Hausfelder.  She was always the entertainer who loved her church, her family, enjoyed baking and cooking and was an avid Alabama football fan.  Vera was a member of Christ the King Lutheran Church in Enterprise.     

Survivors include her grandson, Daniel Paul Hausfelder of Enterprise, AL; sister, Regena (Ina) Hahn of Muehlhausen, Germany; niece, Kirsten Urbach of Muehlhausen; nephew, Gerd Urbach of Muehlhausen; nephew and niece, Gordon and Terrie East of Abbeville, AL; and lifelong friend, Anna Kosik of Enterprise, AL.
