VICKI BENDER DEAL

DOTHAN, AL… Vicki Bender Deal, a resident of Dothan, Alabama, passed away Friday afternoon, September 8, 2023, at her home. She was 74.

          A Celebration of Life service will be held at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, September 16, 2023 at Wright Funeral Home & Crematory Chapel with Pastor Paul Edenfield and Chaplain Dalton Keel officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. Friday afternoon, at Wright Funeral Home & Crematory. Wright Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.

          The family will accept flowers or contributions may be made in Mrs. Deal’s honor, to the The Harbor, 320 N. Foster Street, Dothan, Alabama 36303.

          Mrs. Deal was born in Willard, Ohio, to the late Lawrence Watt Bender and Betty Hanson Bender. She lived most of her lifetime in the Dothan, Alabama area. She was retired from Flowers Hospital as a licensed practical nurse. She was a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church in Dothan, Alabama.

          Leaving to cherish her memories are her husband, Dwight Deal; her daughter, Jessica Nichole Morton (Bill); her step-son, Dwight Deal II (Gwen); her special caretaker/friend and mother-in-law, Verdell Deal; her sisters, Robyn Johnson (Ken), Judy Johnson (Rudolph), and Barbie Jinright (Louie); her grandchildren, William Morton, Nicholas Morton, Henry Morton, and Maddie Deal; her brothers-in-law, Darren Deal (Tammy) and Dennis Deal (Kaylan); her numerous nieces and nephews; and her fur-babies, Lucy and Lydia.
