DOTHAN, ALABAMA… Victor Leroy Hull, a resident of Dothan, died Thursday night, May 11, 2023, at his home. He was 89.

            A graveside service will be held at a later date in Covington, Ohio.

            Mr. Hull was born in Huntsville, Ohio, son of the late Lewis Hull and Norma Marie Christler Hull. At an early age, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1953 and served his country during the Korean War era. Mr. Hull lived in Butler Township, Ohio before moving to Dothan in 1981. He was retired from Globe Motors in Dothan as a small motor mechanic. Mr. Hull was a member of the Messiah Brethren Church in Dayton, Ohio. He was preceded in death by a great-grandchild, Haley Foxworth, and four brothers, Bernie Hull, Ed Hull, Paul Hull and Jerry Hull.

            Surviving relatives include his wife Betty Pullins Hull; a daughter, Kathy Lowe (William), Dothan; two sons, Warren Hull (Avie), Rocky Mount, NC; and Matthew Hull (Raelynn), Huber Heights, Ohio; a brother, Robert Hull (Susan), Butler Township, Ohio; a sister in law, Dorothy Hull, New York; four grandchildren, Melissa Foxworth (Todd), Michelle Kirkland, Elizabeth Hull (Helana Gudgel), and Brian Winstead (Elizabeth); several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
