Victor Noble Wise of DeFuniak Springs, FL passed away on Saturday, April 20, 2024. He was 83 years old.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, April 22, 2024, in the chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home in Geneva, AL with Rev. Randy Kuhn and Rev. Tim Burnham officiating. Burial will follow in the Chapel Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva, AL directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday beginning at 2:00 p.m.

Mr. Wise was born on November 29, 1940, to the late Jimmie and Nellie Nobles Wise. He had a wonderful sense of humor and always enjoyed joking with his family and friends. He loved going on road trips and taking his family fishing. Victor loved people and in return people loved being around him. In his older years he enjoyed the simplicity of sitting in his swing overlooking the lake.     

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by six siblings.

Victor is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Barbara A. Wise; five daughters, Jennifer Ricks (Charles), Teresa Fink (Darell), Sherry Hicks (Duane), Maranda Clark, and Darlene Crum; grandchildren, Conner Ricks (Sara), Meredith Davis (Wes), Aundi Brooks (Chaz), Aiden Hicks, Brandon Summerlin (Kelsea), Steven Glenn Crum, and Ethan Tyler Crum; great grandchildren, Farrah Joy Davis, Stella Sloane Brooks, and Kallie Summerlin.
