Virginia Bostick Harrison Draughon, 94, a resident of Dothan, passed away Saturday, November 13, 2021 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 15, 2021, at Glover Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Jerry Grandstaff and Reverend Stacy Stafford officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery with Glover Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 until 1:45 p.m. on Monday prior to service time.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Harrison Clark Memorial Scholarship Fund at the University of Alabama, P O Box 861928, Tuscaloosa, AL 35486.

Mrs. Draughon was born February 2, 1927 in Headland Alabama to Bernard and Lukie Floyd Bostick and moved to Dothan in 1944 after her marriage.  She was a homemaker and a charter member of Southside Baptist Church and the Patsy McNab Sunday School Class.

Mrs. Draughon is predeceased by two husbands, Howard Harrison and Cecil Draughon, a grandson, Harrison Clark and four brothers, Thad Bostick, Lenton Bostick, Floyd Bostick and Jacob Bostick and a son-in-law, Chris Caton.

Survivors include two daughters, Cheryl Caton of Andalusia and Monty Clark (David) of Dothan; three grandchildren, Samantha Waters of Enterprise, Seale Caton (Kim) of Dothan and Amy Chapman (Will) of Montgomery; five great-grandchildren, Emily Waters, Riley Caton, Alex Caton, Hamilton Chapman and Hayes Chapman; a brother, Shelby Bostick of Tampa, FL; a sister-in-law, Shelva Bostick of Knoxville, TN; several nieces and nephews and a special golden retriever friend, “Penny”.

Pallbearers will be: Ron Ellis, John Walker, Steve Kelley, Steve Henderson, Jack McNab and Keith Stowers.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Encompass Hospice and especially nurses, Ryan, Lyndsey and Taylor and special friend and sitter, Judy Jones and caregiver, Deatrich Brascomb.
