Voncile Sasser Davis of Geneva, AL passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2024, at Graceville Health and Rehab Center in Graceville, FL. She was 85 years old.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, in the chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral in Geneva, AL with the Rev. Roger Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Olive Assembly of God Church Cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday beginning at 1:00 p.m.

Voncille was born in Westville, FL on February 14, 1939, to the late Lon and Nora Mae Slaughter Sasser. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, quilting, and playing Nintendo.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by the father of her children, Leonard Davis; one daughter, Polly Davis; one grandson, William Tucker; three brothers, Charles, Houston, and Hubert Sasser; two sisters, Mary Sue Arrant, and Judy Parrish.

She is survived by three daughters, Doris Berry (James) of Hartford, AL, Debra Tucker of Geneva, AL, and Lisa Beck of Slocomb, AL; four grandchildren, Jason Berry of Westville, FL, Ashley Beck of Newton, AL, Ryan Beck of Geneva, AL, and Leon Glover of Mississippi; 13 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; one sister, Eloise Evans of West Bay, FL; and many nieces and nephews.
