Vonnie Lucille Yeomans Brewer of Geneva, AL passed away on Sunday, February 18, 2024. She was 74 years old.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, February 23, 2024, in the chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home in Geneva, AL with the Rev. Chuck Grantham officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva, AL directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday beginning at 1:00 p.m. Family and friends are encouraged to wear Mrs. Vonnie’s favorite color pink to the service in memory of her.

Mrs. Brewer was born in Hartford, AL on July 27, 1949, to the late Emmitt Lee and Vera Ayers Yeomans. Vonnie was such a kind and loving person. She had a special gift when it came to babies. She could always help soothe a crying baby. Her family will remember her for her devoted unconditional love, compassion, and strength.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Andy Brewer; eight siblings, Beulah, Eula, A.C., Martha, Wayne, James, Osker, and Barbara Ann.

She is survived by one son, Christopher Barlow Stone of Roswell, GA; one daughter, Tracy Leaellen Brewer of Geneva, AL; two stepsons, Gary Andrew Brewer of Monroe, LA, and William Brewer of Westville, FL; two grandchildren, Gaige Brewer and Morgan Brewer; one great grandson, Rhett Brewer; one sister, Donnie Berry of Dothan, AL; and many special nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers will be Tommy Yeomans, Brad Smith, Levi Smith, Brandon Smith, Sam Grantham, and Ricky Brock.
