Wanda Elaine Martin

Wanda Elaine Martin, age 57 of Dothan, passed away on Friday, June 11, 2021 at her residence, following an extended illness.

A private memorial service will be held at a later time and Wanda will be placed in one of her most favorite places on earth. Additional information may be found at www.familyfirstfuneralcare.com.

Wanda was born May 8, 1964 in Dalton, GA. She spent most of her life as a homemaker. Even though she was born in Georgia, she had moved to Dothan about a year ago. Prior to this, she traveled many towns and cities from Georgia, Alabama, Florida and Texas. Her hobbies involved oil painting, making sand sculptures, and loved being a care-giver to everyone in need. Wanda was loved and will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her. She was also of the Baptist faith.

Wanda is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Maria and her husband, Robert and their three children, Ethan, Austin, and Dion, all of Green Cove Springs, FL; her daughter, Julie Sheltra of Ormond Beach, FL; a brother, Gerald Marty Martin, and his wife, Sue of Edgewater, FL; a sister, Reba Dianne Watters, and her husband, Johnny of Rome, Ga; her step-father, John Baptist, of Jasper, GA; her sister-in-law, Hazel Martin, of Blue Ridge, GA. Several nieces, nephews, cousins and other friends survive.
